Proudly Australian made, Acoustica represents the first real departure from the traditional marine sound proofing solution in over 50 years. Unlike traditional foam / lead based barriers, Acoustica utilises a bio degradable barrier material which is specifically engineered for low end frequency noise and vibration (i.e. engine noise and vibration).
This barrier is then coupled to polyester matting (available in soft or rigid configuration) which unlike foam does not soak up moisture, does not break down when it comes into contact with diesel fuel or fumes, and does not delaminate or tear. The end result is a thin, lightweight, and very durable barrier which has boasts unmatched performance compared to the industry standard materials (see the latest test results).
